A FRAGILE TOWERM A WILD
WOMAN, AND A SPIRALING
TORNADO— EXPLORE
THE CHAOS.
︎Dream:
When I was a child, I had a dream where a distinct "frame" has stuck with me into adulthood. I'm standing at the top of a tower, that was fragile or structurally unstable in some way, looking down at a woman. She had straggly, dirty gray hair and a crazed look in her eyes. Her clothing was something akin to a smock or sack, thick and witch-like overall. As I looked down, she was waving a wand or staff in a circular motion to wield her magic. Her spell created a powerful tornado that was grayish brown and thick. And in the throws of the tornado's winds garden vegetables were being whipped around. I remember feeling precarious or unstable in the tower as well as frightened and threatened by her.

︎Analysis
The Tower:
Towers often symbolize a place of introspection or a vantage point where one can see the larger picture. However, the fragility of the tower suggests feelings of insecurity or instability in your life. This might reflect your current experiences or feelings about your identity or situation, especially as you navigate your role as a nonbinary individual in a society that can be challenging.
The Woman:
The woman in your dream may represent the anima, a figure representing the feminine aspects of your psyche. Her straggly gray hair and crazed demeanor could symbolize repressed or neglected parts of yourself. The chaotic nature of her magic may point to untamed emotions or aspects of your personality that feel out of control.
The Wand & The Tornado:
The wand signifies the power of creation and transformation, which resonates with your identity as an artist and designer. The tornado, a chaotic force, might represent the tumultuous emotions or situations in your life. The whirlwind of garden vegetables being thrown around could symbolize the chaotic nature of growth and creativity, suggesting that you may feel overwhelmed by the very aspects of your life that also hold potential for nourishment and fertility.
Fear:
Your feelings of fear and threat indicate a struggle with uncertainty, possibly reflecting anxieties about embracing your identity or stepping into new roles as you transition into adulthood. The tower’s instability may mirror feelings about where you stand in your creative journey or personal life.
Overall Interpretation:
In essence, your dream reflects a complex interplay between stability and chaos, identity and creativity. It urges you to explore and embrace the deeper, often untamed parts of yourself, acknowledging both fear and potential as you continue on your journey of self-discovery and artistic expression. Embracing this dynamic may empower you to find a stronger footing, even amid uncertainty.
