SELF INTEGRATION


Integration ︎ with the unconscious is like taking a deep and transformative journey within yourself, and it’s called “individuation.” This process is about getting to know every part of your mind, even the ones you might have pushed away or hidden, known as the “shadow self.”

It is a path towards understanding yourself better, accepting your flaws, and finding balance.  To do this, you need to become more aware of your thoughts and feelings, reflect on them honestly, and learn to embrace them, even those that might seem uncomfortable or challenging.

The ultimate goal is to unite opposing aspects of your personality, like light and dark, into a harmonious partnership.  This harmonious union is often called the “transcendent function,” where you find a more profound and balanced sense of self by integrating all the different pieces of your psyche.
